Wow, what a difference a year makes! As many of you know life has handed me lots of bumps, hills, valleys and so on... I finally am getting to the place where I have clarity and i mean it this time. I have found a an awesome church in St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church and have made many new friends. I am getting my life back and the real Tara Butler Adams is coming back to normal. All I need now is a job! I did have a job interview this past week and I only pray that all goes well and they call.

I know that a lot people don't understand me or think I am random.... well, I have found out why and I am learning to live with those four dreaded letters ADHD. I have been reading a book Delivered from Distraction and it explains why ADDers and ADHDers are the way they are. It's NOT that we don't care or that some are just trying to mess around for no reason. There is now and then there is not now .

The Advantage characteristics :

creative talents, original out of the box thinking

Warn hearted, zany sense of humor , unpredictable,

The Disadvantage :

Difficulty turing great ideas into significant acton

Difficulty explaining themselves to others

Chronic underachievement, may be floundering at school or work, or a may achieve high level but it could be achieved higher if they could "find the

key"

Mood often angry or down due to frustration

Inconsistent

It seems like there are more disadvantages , but there are ways to overcome, I am working on that as well.

I just feel like now i have better answers to my questions and more to look forward to.
